LJ Interests meme results

    They rock. Amazing. If you can, go see them, and go see Cirque de Soleli. The tickets will cost you an arm and a leg, it's worth skipping food to go see.
  2. debian:
    Debian is still cool, but right now I've got my eye on SuSe and Ubunto (which is really just Debian for non-kernal hackers, like me)

    The fair tax rocks my world. And it should rock your world too.

You can kernel hack on ubuntu as well. The difference is Debian is rock solid stable, to the point of annoyance. In fact many newer versions of applications won't even build on Debian because Debian's libraries are so old. Ubuntu is not bleeding edge but the developers are doing a much better job of keeping it up to date.

Debian development has been mired in politics and is dying a quick death. Nyah! :)
